![]() ![]() ![]() This would (should?) Be offset by the higher damage thanks to the crits, which will happen much more often. Slash would still be the priority status type, although of course the status chance will be lower. I'd drop both stinger and sure shot in order to make room for the two crit mods. i don't remember Redeemer having a bug where it dealt IPS Damage on the Shots. Pretty sure it's never worked at any point in time. if you're trying to deal with Enemies that have a lot of Armor, it will not. it's only a big increase in Damage if the Enemy takes significant Damage from it. Oooooh, you were referring to Primed Heated Charge. luckily that's actually stronger overall if you wouldn't otherwise have Avenger, so that's neat. and as i noted just before, there's literally no space for both Crit Mods, you have to add just Crit Damage and use Avenger if you want Crits, there's literally no other way. Magnum Force is only a: ((3.2 + 1.65) / 3.2) = 1.5156ĥ1.6% increase in Damage, it's not like it's overwhelmingly powerful.Ī 74% increase in average Damage. ![]() Instead of a +165% base damage(not including the multiplicative damage increase that will result into elemental damage)?Īre you talking about Crits vs Magnum Force? Punch-Through would be wonderful to have but there's literally no room for it.Īctually I wanted to ask about that too, why would you choose to buff CC CD, resulting in a 1+0.287x(4.4-1)=+90% average damage output(eq. removing two Mods for Crits will not be worth it, there's just nothing else you can take off that the Crits would make up for losing. that has a good chance of being worth it.īut that's the only option you have. You could maybe forgo Sure Shot, and put just Crit Damage there, and use Avenger for your Crit Chance. With the IPS weighting removed, to use Viral/Slash what you need to do is put on a mild amount of Viral (so like, half Ranked Status Elementals for Viral), and then fill every single Slot with raw Status Chance Mods, and Multi-Shot.Ĭrits are nice to have too, but i'm not sure there's space for those Mods anymore with how much fanagling of the Status you have to perform now. you have to either bring more to the table simultaneously or you have to change strategies. It still makes sense to do so on the Solar Map where basically anything dies to a single shot after all the nerfs, but when we're talking about Steel Path, you can't ride that road anymore. you'll just end up Killing high Level Enemies slower. not when you have to completely give up Viral/Slash to get it. No, you don't need to spam Corrosive Status on everything, and it's even a waste of time for high Level Enemies now that Corrosive can't fully remove Armor. Should I chase for shoot-to-death raw damage with a slash-based, high status chance archgun or DoT dmg in steel path? Or just a personal playstyle preference? I used to build for pure viral/slash/status chance and fully rely on its DoT after landing a few shots, but I found out recently that mod with primed heat charge and shoot them to death will gives a much higher dps but low DoT damage due to the +165% high raw damage but lowering viral/slash proc chance(and heat procs are underwhelming against high armor enemy as I know). Now 2 mod slots left and here's the problem. Obviously I put Hornet strike, lethal torrent, barrel diffusion and carnis stinger in, then two 60/60 cold+toxin mods for viral, 70% status chance, 9.33 atk speed and 2.8 multishots. So recently I am working hard on titania's Dex pixia build, it's a 80% slash gun with a 25% status chance and 10% cc and 2.0 cd, so clearly it's a status gun. Why when we have ? Early damage helps to kill stuff early on to get the galvanized stacks up.Ok, first of all, as title, below are talking about status gun against high my armored enemy(1000-2000+). cannot be equipped on, most likely because the mod is an Acolyte mod which are not compatible with exalted weapons. Mod your elemental combos to your likings, I prefer Viral on everything ( + ). is a great replacement for, because of the high fire rate and status chance on, meaning it applies unqiue status effects fast and thus increasing the damage output by a ton thanks to. 's accuracy penalty makes this weapon not great to use (the spread is noticeable), unless you are in close range with the enemies. NOTE: using two 90% elementals and no PHC Status build (349k burst, 258k sustained). Raw damage build (403k burst, 298k sustained). Why raw damage? Because it does most damage out of status and crit build! The order of (burst) damage is: 1. Please like if the guide and build was helpful to you! ![]()
